The Adele Condominiums
Located at 1108 16th Street NW, Washington, DC 20036 |Downtown
Located in the epicenter of vibrant Downtown, DC, the Adele is a bespoke boutique condominium that was redeveloped from an original 1920s office building. The eight-story mixed-use project has office spaces at the lower levels and just 14 high-end residences at the upper levels. The Adele’s prime downtown location near the corner of L and 16th Streets places it close to historic city greenspaces like Farragut Square, McPherson Square, Lafayette Square, as well as the White House.
This stone and brick office building was completely transformed in 2018 by architect Jane Nelson and interior designer Michael Hampton. In doing so, they crafted unique floorplans for each of the 14 units, including eight “City Collection” and six “Estate Collection” residences. The Adele is among a group of highly desirable condo buildings in the downtown area that can range from small and intimate to large and luxurious, including the Alta, the Cosmopolitan, Mather Studios, and City Center DC.
