More About Quincy Court, Washington, DC
Quincy Court is a full service building with a stylish lobby and staffed front desk. The residences themselves are bright and open, from the smallest studio to the largest penthouse. The floors are often classic strip hardwood, which can be a nice change from the ubiquitous extra-wide plank engineered flooring so common to many newer buildings. Massive windows allow lots of natural light inside, and the open gourmet kitchens typically feature black granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and oversized wood cabinetry. Many of the units have cubist covered balconies, while top level penthouses have their own roof level private decks. Even though this is a contemporary building completed in 2006, time does continue to march on, evidenced by more recent remodels from some individual condo owners. Also worth noting are the convenient in-unit washers and dryers.
In addition to the staffed front desk, residents at Quincy Court enjoy a nicely equipped fitness center, and a terrific rooftop deck with grilling, lounge furniture, and sublime cityscape views. Many but not all condos come with assigned garage parking. For those who prefer not to drive in congested city traffic, the Mount Vernon Sq-7th St-Convention Center Metro Station is just a few blocks away. There’s also no shortage of things to do and see in the area, with an amazing slew of museums, theaters, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, galleries, and upscale retailers. There are multiple nearby supermarkets, including a Safeway on L Street, a Whole Foods in next-door Logan Circle, and a Giant, also in Logan Circle. Foodie delights continue with three different farmers markets: Mount Vernon, City Center, and the White House/McPherson Square.
