Georgetown Overlook Condominiums
Located at 1318 22nd Street NW, Washington, DC 20037 | Dupont Circle
What’s in a name? Some might assume the Georgetown Overlook condos to be located in the Georgetown neighborhood, but the contemporary five-story building is actually in the western part of Dupont Circle, just a few blocks from Georgetown and also on the cusp of the West End community. Whether the building actually overlooks its tony next-door neighbor is debatable, unless you’re on the top floor with west-facing windows in which case you’ll certainly enjoy some lovely views including some of Georgetown’s landmark buildings.
But condominiums are always much more than a moniker, and the Georgetown Overlook offers 35 residences in one and two-bedroom configurations, ranging from around 625 to 950 square feet in size. These are handsome apartments with traditional layouts, featuring hardwood floors, large windows, and wood-burning fireplaces. The building is located at 1318 22nd Street between O Street and N Street. Other contemporary condominium buildings in the area include Dupont West, Church Place, and the Apolline.

More About Georgetown Overlook, Washington, DC
Georgetown Overlook with its handsome cubist brick façade was built in 1977 and is in a very leafy and residential part of the neighborhood. It backs up against 23rd Street and Francis Park. The boutique condominium has a lobby and a doorman. Most of the condo units have exposed brick wall accents, as well as rear-facing private terraces. Galley kitchens are nicely finished with stone counters and plenty of cabinet space, and some have been further remodeled by individual owners. In some cases, this includes removing wall portions in order to have a more open feel. The bathrooms are also nicely finished. Some condos have in-unit washers and dryers. The pet-friendly building also has a well-equipped laundry room, storage cages for all apartments, and a bike room. There is a surface parking lot behind the building, with assigned spaces available for an additional fee.
This is truly a place where three highly sought-after neighborhoods come together, with Dupont Circle, Georgetown, and the West End all converging within the space of a few blocks. You can stroll to West End bakeries and restaurants like Blue Duck Tavern, District Tap, and Tatte Bakery & Café, or to Dupont Circle favorites like Emissary, Firefly, Chiko, and Certo! The Metro Supermarket, and Streets Market are both nearby. For those who prefer public transit to driving, the Dupont Circle Metro Station with Red Line service is a half-dozen blocks away.
