Construction of the mixed-use condominium building that also includes retail and restaurant space, was complicated by its location inside a triangle formed by the convergence of 22nd Street, New Hampshire Avenue and M Street. The gas station ownership could not be persuaded to relocate but did ultimately allow landscape architects to create a garden on the station’s roof.
