Developed by the JPG Companies with Future Green Studio, and designed by Morris Adjimi, the ambitious project involved a collection of squat, low-rise plumbing supply warehouses on three adjacent parcels of land that had fallen into disrepair over time. Adjimi fashioned a new design that included a new condo building at 2030 8th Street, an apartment rental building across the street known as Atlantic Plumbing 2112 that sits atop a former warehouse, and 901W, a pair of rental buildings with a connecting skybridge. The U Street Corridor has seen quite a lot of condominium development in recent years, including 2020 Lofts, the Floridian, and Langston Lofts.
