Featured in James Goode’s seminal coffee table book Best Addresses, 1870 Wyoming is a historic cooperative residential building in Washington’s Adams Morgan neighborhood. Designed by prominent architect B. Stanley Simmons and completed in 1917, the Eclectic Beau-Arts structure was a well-known apartment building until it was converted to co-op apartments in 1951.

Located in what was once the Washington Heights neighborhood at the corner of Wyoming Ave and 19th Street, the buff brick and limestone building is home to 28 residences.
