11Park Condominiums
Located at 1628 11th Street NW, Washington, DC 20001 | Logan Circle
In Washington, DC's historic Logan Circle neighborhood, 11Park brings a breath of fresh air and contemporary style. Originally a low-rise office building, the project was redeveloped by the Fortis Companies, gutting the interiors, and creating additional levels, including a parking garage. There are 32 condo units at the boutique building, of which 24 are apartment style (single level) and eight are townhouse style (two levels).
Completed in 2017, the 11Park condominium gets its name from its location, on 11th Street and across from the Cardoza Park and Playground. Floorplans are quite varied, from one-bedroom flats that start around 610 square feet, progressing all the way up to the duplex residences with two or three bedrooms and 2.5 baths, topping out at around 1,750 square feet. Some units have bonus dens, and some of the larger townhouse-style units have two private outdoor spaces, including a ground level patio and an upper level deck. Other condo buildings in the area include 11Q, Lofts 14, Citta 50, and 10Eleven.
More About 11Park, Washington, DC
From the street, 11Park has a very modern appearance, with large cubist sections of white concrete, metal, brick, and glass. Modernist themes continue within the residences themselves, including huge windows that invite the natural light inside. While the smallest flats measure a little over 600 square feet, the majority of one-bedrooms are noticeably larger. The two-bedroom flats and duplexes are very generous in size, and all residences have bright and open themes, complemented by streaky Austrian wide-plank floors, and Euro-style open gourmet kitchens that fit against the wall, featuring custom cabinetry, Caesarstone counters, and upscale appliance packages. The building’s top story is devoted to community space, such as the lounge. Other building amenities include a two-story lobby, a parking garage, a fitness room, a rooftop deck with grilling stations, and a pet-grooming station.
The building is in the northeastern part of Logan Circle, close to next-door Shaw to the east and the U Street Corridor to the north. The closest Metro station is Shaw-Howard University, about a half-dozen blocks away. You’ll find lots of coffee shops, bars, restaurants, and shops in all directions. The nearby 14th Street corridor is especially well known for its many dining options, including Ted’s Bulletin, Gypsy Kitchen DC, Le Diplomate, and Barcelona Wine Bar to name a few. Logan Circle and surrounding neighborhoods have been going through a renaissance in housing development, from repurposed historic schoolhouses to new contemporary construction.
