10Eleven Condominiums

Located at 1011 M Street NW, Washington, DC 20001 | Logan Circle

Built in 2016, the 10Eleven condominium building in Logan Circle is the product of a collaboration between Community Three Development, Streetwise, and the powerhouse architectural firm of Tori Gallas Partners. The interiors were imagined by Darrel Carter. But despite Gallas’ reputation for edgy and modern designs, this elegant building with 71 condo residences plus street level commercial space evokes a more traditional style, looking for all the world like an early 20th century Beaux-Arts landmark, replete with triple window bays and detailed cornice work.

Logan Circle has been a neighborhood in transition in recent decades, finding ways to address the housing crunch through both new construction and the redevelopment and/or renovation of existing structures. There is also a parallel move toward upward growth and vitalization through a lively restaurant scene, popular boutique retailers, the arts, and other marketable trends. Even the newer condo buildings themselves seem to have an affinity for catchy names that reflect their locations, such as 10Eleven (at 1011 M Street), 11Park (on 11th Street across from a park), 11Q (at the corner of 11th and Q Street), 1225 Lofts (at 1225 13th Street) and Lofts 14 (at the corner of 14th).

More About 10Eleven, Washington, DC

If the exterior of 10Eleven is a nod to century-old Washingtonian style, the condos themselves are thoroughly modern. The options are one and two bedrooms, with sizes ranging from roughly 520 to 1,500 square feet. The largest floorplans tend to be the penthouses at the top of the building, but there are also a few 9th floor one-bedroom “junior penthouses.” Regardless of the physical size, these sun-drenched residences feature oversized windows, five inch wide-plank hardwood floors, and layouts that invite exploration. Euro-style gourmet kitchens hug the walls, with white Carrera marble counters and islands, glossy white custom cabinetry, and panelized stainless steel appliances. Many of the units have private outdoor terraces with cityscape views, perfect for morning coffee or al fresco dining.

Common amenities at 10Eleven include a staffed lobby, a library with a fireplace, an outdoor terrace at the ground level, a rooftop deck, secure parking, bike storage, and a dog-washing station. The popular Supra DC restaurant with Georgian classic dishes is one of the building’s street level businesses. This part of the Logan Circle neighborhood is quite close to Downtown DC, and there are numerous nearby attractions including dining, shopping, and entertainment. Other neighborhoods in the area include Mount Vernon Triangle, Chinatown, and Penn Quarter.
